Eliminate acne/ new facial cleansing routine:
Hello to the people who kindly clicked on my blog I just wanted to give some advice on skin and on what I currently use for it. Also click on the title of the product if you want to go on the product website.

Retail price: $12.95 – $30.95

If you have acne prone or oily skin I highly recommend this product. At first I was a bit skeptical and I was also a little hesitant on how drying I thought it was going to leave my skin but it surprisingly really balanced out my skin and left everything feelings so crisp and clean without that weird rubbery feeling that other cleansers leave behind. You can also use this as a once a week kind of thing or as an everyday cleanser. I love it and probably will be using it for the next few years to come.

Retail Price: $25.00

I always liked facemasks like these because of the therapeutic component to them and I’m not going to lie… the texture it leaves when it dries up feels oddly good on the skin. I usually apply this twice a week for about 10 minutes just like how it says on the directions but I neglect the time  at times and end up leaving it on for more than an hour, it’s a look what can I say.
Hence the title it does what its meant to do and its what has been leaving my skin feeling cute and also leaving it blackhead-less.

Retail Price: $22.00

If you have acne prone and oily skin I recommend this because of its really soothing and skin caring properties, it also oil free which means it will leave your skin looking amazing and non-oily looking. I use this product every day twice a day and it has been leaving my skin looking and feeling clean.

Retail Price: $22.00

A toner is inevitably an essential if you’re looking forward to having clear and healthy skin. It helps correct the skin and gives it the right dosage of healthy ingredients such as vitamins, antioxidants, and overall skin-repairing properties depending on the product. After cleansing your skin the skin can often become dry and stripped so a toner is an essential. This particular toner has been helping my skin out and it also has a pleasant smell to it, which was a surprise and makes it a pro for the product itself.

Retail Price: $51.00

After cleansing my skin and toning it the final step is to moisturize it. I love that this product is oil-free so it leaves my skin looking dewy without looking oily. The Age erasing part of it was what really sold it to me because you’re never too young to start using anti-aging products. Lets keep that skin looking hydrated, glowing, and cute!

This marks the end of my skin clearing regiment and I hope I helped you out with some of the key steps to clearing and having healthy and glowing skin. But Like always, here is the beat of the week. c:

My advice to you on lucrative piece splurging+Beat of the week

Lucrative basics

Three pieces of advice I always remind myself about:

           1. Originality: Whenever I shop for that certain really high quality piece I research on that specific brand and for what it stands for along with its essence.  For example: when I look and think of Acne Studios I always am reminded of its versatile like aesthetic and I tend to look for jackets, basics, and sometimes even tennis shoes when I go on a dreamy-online-clothing-adventure.

          2.  Longevity: For me, the amount of years or even decades I’ll be using that piece that I’m trying to anxiously buy is an important factor because I don’t want to spend on something that I’ll end up throwing away in a matter of months. I want to look at that specific piece that I’ve been eyeing for about a month to make me happy when I see it, wear it, and hang it or fold it back into my closet until the day I die… I mean not until the day I die but you get the point.

          3.  Versatility: Depending on what you currently have in your closet also can contribute to what you splurge on. Will the piece that you’ve been looking at for quite sometime fit in with your other pieces in your closet? Will the neo-green Prada high heels that you’ve been eyeing fit in and coexist with your earthy toned wardrobe? Maybe yes, maybe no, you be the judge.

A holiday gift idea

Saturday, November 21, 2015

What are you getting your loved ones for the holidays?

As many of you may know, the holidays are approaching and for many of you it means vacation time! Or it might also mean “time to pull out the Christmas decorations again…” or if you're one of the few “O.M.F.G what am I going to get my mother in law for Christmas?" so you get the gist.

I want to dedicate this post to the lost souls in this gift filled abundant holiday and so I came up with three essential but also lucrative pieces that would make an amazing gift for that special someone or loved one.

1.     Perfume/Cologne: Personally one of my favorites, I love giving away a scent because in a way you can describe someone by just a mixture of aromas.

2.     Candle: You can never go wrong with a candle as long as the gift receiver doesn’t have an extreme allergy.
·      For my pick I chose Vanille from Diptique aFrench candle company. The candle both unique and aesthetically cute to look at is one of my favorites and I’m hoping to buy one for myself for the holidays, a little “treat yo self” gift.

3.     Watch: I feel as though a watch just brings up the level of sophistication for any outfit and that is why I incorporated it into the list.

·      For the longest time I’ve been admiring the Daniel Wellington watch’s and I just adore the whole design of them, the bands are also interchangeable which means you’ll never get bored of the watch itself.

And like always, here I have a playlist of my current music favorites:

Fashion Films

            Fashion Films:
I know for a fact that people interested in the industry of fashion or should we instead say of style, love movies that give an inside look of the industry and how it functions and produces that amazing content that it does from beautiful minds; Such as journalists, designers, buyers, editors and ect.
Here are my top picks of movies I have been moved by and made me feel like the badass I could be in the industry.
1.     The September Issue: An inside look on how editors such as Anna Wintour and several others contribute to the making of one of the most viewed magazines, Vogue.
2.     Dior and I: When Raf Simmons is chosen to be by then new director of Dior, he has only 8 weeks to complete his first Couture collection for the brand. This film gives the viewer a new look and perspective. The films editing and overall content was also what made it one of my favorites; you don’t have to be fashion savvy to watch this film, the film itself is chilling and motivating.
3.     The Devil Wears Prada: I know what some of you are going to say, this movie isn’t even at all factual and so on… but this film honestly motivated me in a way and also made me excited about a life I could have besides the devilish persona of head editor in chief of Runway magazine, Miranda Priestly and the not so real life situations Emily (assistant of Miranda) had to encounter and face.

4.     Coco before Chanel: A look into Coco’s life and how she became ones of the most influential woman in the industry.
