July favorites c:

Wednesday, August 6, 2014

For my July favorites I will incorporate both  favorites that I've been using for the longest time and some that I've been using since the start of this July.

    Starting off with skin care...
I've been dealing with some skin problems like any other teen or nearly all the population, yeah that's right.... "acne" the evil, the frowned upon, the social killer. Luckily though it took quite some time for me to find that right product, I finally found something or at least something that is somehow keeping away those blemishes and so called pimples.
  • Clinique Acne Solutions

This skin care system has helped me in so many ways, even though in the beginning it did leave my skin dry but it was at my own fault; i will tell you how to avoid that in a minute.

  1. As you can see there are three products within this skin clearing system; the cleansing foam which would be the first step deeps cleans the impurities off from your face, like dirt and unnecessary oils.
  2. The second step would be applying the cleansing lotion which unclogs pores.
The third step would be to add a "all-over clearing treatment" which acts like a lotion at the same time to bring all those products to together and also to not leave your skin dry.

I would recommend like it says on these products to use twice a day, in the morning and at night. If you feel like its drying up your skin then I would suggest that you just apply the clarifying lotion only once a day then when you think your skin is ready... you can start to use it every day, twice a day.

  • Clinique Anti-Blemish solutions clinical clearing gel

This gel has recently been saving my butt and keeping my anxiety away. You are going to want to dab on spots that you think are going to grow or you could dab the gel on acne that has already shown up but I do warn that it will sting a bit. Keep on doing this along with the Clinique Acne solutions three step cleanser and you'll be seeing results in no time.

  • Youtuber's that are keeping me vibed
  1. HeyClaire : This chick has serious style going on; she has that certain dark, light minimalist thing going on and I'm loving it. She has this personality that she has that just makes you want more, and more who wouldn't want to be her best friend? She's talks about fashion, makeup, hair, anything and everything. I'll just let you check out her wonderful channel!

 2.   Clothesencounters : Hip colors, bold statement pieces, this girl has it and isn't scared to show what she likes to wear. Her personality is overall cool, friendly, just a sweet soul. She's inspired me to wear what I want and to just embrace my own personal style.

   3. BeautyCrush  : Her name is Sammi and I can assure you that you will fall in love with her personality, fashion, and her unique but very chic hair. She does vlogs as well and just knows how to live overall. She can bring the best of your mood and just make your day.

These vloggers/bloggers just mean a lot and they have guided me and helped me throughout my hardships and sad days. Their lifestyle/work just motivates me to be a better person, better my mood, and just overall inspire me in so many way and levels. Its unbelievable how much a person can help you out even though you don't know them in person. ( :

  •                 Music like I said in my last post can help your mood, emotions, and just overall self in many ways. Here's a list of song and Artists I'd like to introduce to you. Since this will be my first ever post on this blog, i'd like to sample some bits and bops like the British would say of my work or work "to be". I'll be talking about designers and brands i find influential like Alexander Wang with his signature black and white colors and along with his iconic dark chic but minimalist vibe.

Alexander Wang Fall/Winter 2015

Alexander Wang Spring Ready to Wear 2014
Then up next  demonstrating outfits I will be creating depending on the mood or certain event.

I created a look where all the items are under $100 bucks,

  1. Urban Renewal Vintage Oversized Flannel Shirt in Tartan, Urban Outfitters: $51
  2. Monki Panda Singlet, Monki.com : $13
  3. Black Elastic Waist Leather Shorts, 6ks.com : $28
  4. Topshop Advent Chelsea Boots, Topshop.com : $90
  5. Aesop Reverence Aromatique Hand balm 75ml, Aesop.com : $32
P.S instead of the over sized red button up shirt you can instead pair it up with a kimono where they would usually sell at urban outfitters or even a draping over sized cardigan.

Another part of my personal lifestyle is the music I listen to. Music does wonderful and beautiful things to both the soul and mind... trust me I promise. Here are some really great songs that get me going throughout the day c:
